This is a cool house that I drive by all the time and always have wanted to get a picture of. It looks like a place that people would have weddings and other special events. There is a gazebo and a bridge near the water to the right of the picture. I am going to try to get even better pictures in the spring when it is not so cold.

The stream looks cold. It is definitely winter there. The house is a little distant to see what you describe.
