New Photo assignments

Here is the photo I actually turned in.
Our puppy, Ginger, peeking out of the hole she is digging. Can I mention how tough it is to shot animals?
I liked these trees from my backyard because they form an "H".
Another shot I managed to get Ginger to pose for. Everytime I called her name she would not only look up but dart toward me so I had to be very fast on the trigger as well as having a fast shutter speed.
I am quite fond of this kind of shot. I had another one that silhouetted the trees more but I liked the colors in this one.
School is back in full swing and our first assignment was to experiment with the white balance settings while taking the same shot and choose the best photo of the bunch. I took quite a few pictures to give me plenty to choose from. Here, I posted the one I submitted on top and some others I found note-worthy but didn't match assignment criteria.
